Wolf Moon is a heavy/power metal band composed of six talented members from various parts of the United States and Canada. Their music draws inspiration from the phases of the moon, the changing seasons, and the symbolic significance of the Wolf Moon. The band’s lyrics often explore themes of self-reflection, personal empowerment and growth, transformation and new beginnings, finding community, and can include fantastical elements grounded in reality. Wolf Moon’s distinctive sound blends a nostalgic feel with modern influences, drawing heavily from the metal and rock sensibilities of the 1980s while incorporating contemporary elements. The songwriting also draws on each member’s musical background and influences, contributing to Wolf Moon’s unique brand of metal.
At present, Wolf Moon is deeply engaged in the songwriting and recording process for their debut full-length album. This endeavor presents a unique challenge, as the band operates entirely remotely!

🌾🌕 After a grueling audition process, under the Harvest Moon, Wolf Moon evolved into the full band with Kerry, Evan, Julia, ZVMike, Nick, and Drumlord.
🍓🌕 After years of building Wolf Moon as a personal project, the Strawberry Moon saw Evan Abell, with the gracious support of guest musicians, release a demo EP titled Rise With the Moon.
